We're recruiting volunteer law students

Townsville Community Legal Service is currently recruiting highly motivated, organised and proactive law students to volunteer at our community legal centre. The opportunity involves law students working with a number of experienced lawyers, support workers and administrative staff in a diverse and busy practice which provides legal assistance in social security, family, general civil, migration and elder law matters.

Applications close 5pm Friday 10 August 2018.

Volunteer students will be a first point of contact for potential clients, and will also have opportunities to undertake paralegal work & support as they progress.

We are looking to fill volunteer positions when students return for 2nd semester, 2018. In order to apply, please send us a short covering email outlining why you want to volunteer at a Community Legal Centre, along with a copy of your CV. If you require any further information, or to submit your expression of interest, please contact Michael by email using the link below.
