We're recruiting volunteer law students

Townsville Community Legal Service is currently recruiting highly motivated, organised and proactive law students to volunteer at our community legal centre. The opportunity involves law students working with a number of experienced lawyers, support workers and administrative staff in a diverse and busy practice which provides legal assistance in social security, family, general civil, migration and elder law matters.

Volunteer students will be a first point of contact for potential clients, and will also have opportunities to undertake paralegal work & support as they progress.

We are looking to fill volunteer positions as soon as possible. In order to apply, please send us a short covering email outlining why you want to volunteer at a Community Legal Centre, along with a copy of your CV. If you require any further information, or to submit your expression of interest, please contact Michael on (07) 4721 5511 or solicitor@tcls.org.au.
